A Celebration of Mountain Culture in the Outdoor Capital of the UK

The Fort William Mountain Festival Launch Night
 at Pinemarten Cafe Bar,  Nevis Range
Wednesday 20th February 2013

Kick off the 2013 Fort William Mountain Festival with an evening that lets you truly embrace and enjoy mountain culture.

Join us at the Pinemarten Café & Bar, Nevis Range at 5.30pm to view a new Mountain Descent for the 2013 festival, you will be amazed as you watch a range of athletes and outdoor enthusiasts descend the mountain in torchlight! Followed by a superb locally sourced and inspired 4 course meal (see below for full menu), live musical entertainment, and screening of some of the festival’s competition films!

PROGRAMME
The descent will begin with Skiers and Snowboarders, who will pass on to runners and finally cyclists as you see a stream of light pass down the mountain.  Definitely not to be missed, although of course this is weather dependant!

 At 7pm guests will move indoors to enjoy an evening of entertainment along with their 4 course meal.

You will be entertained throughout your meal with live singing performances and end the evening with Spike on the Banjo through popular demand!

 And be the first to see some of our competition film entries which this year… as usual… are of very high quality”.

Allow yourself to be motivated & inspired by mountain culture as you will be in the following evenings of the festival and also to get involved in some of the workshops running throughout the duration of the festival.
