Official Festival Opening Party Let's get the ceilidh started! The mountain gondola will whisk party-goers to 2150ft up Aonach Mor, beside Ben Nevis for the official opening of the 2009 Mountain Festival. The Snowgoose Restaurant will be open for meals from 6.30 to 8.30pm. Then it's time to dance the night away with a Highland Ceilidh from 8-11.30pm. All operations weather permitting. |

The Longest Climb with Paul Pritchard Paul Pritchard was one of Britain's leading rock climbers until his now infamous accident on the Totem Pole. 12 years after his last visit to Clachaig, Paul returns to present his lecture "The Longest Climb". |

BASP 2 day emergency first aid course There is a simple Basic Life Support test during the course and practical outdoor scenarios on both days so come prepared to get muddy and wet, wrap up warm. Bring a packed lunch with you, teas and coffees will be available at the venue. |
