Win a fantastic one-week residential photography workshopAutumn Gold with Peter CairnsAt the height of autumn, the Scottish Highlands are bathed in a carpet of yellows and golds contrasting with the first dusting of snowfall on the brooding hills beyond. Mist-laden, mirror-calm lochs are guarded by sentinel pines from ancient forests and the distant roar of rutting stags lend a primordial feel to this wild landscape. Our photographic adventure focuses on the mosaic of habitats found within the Cairngorms National Park. From our spectacular base in Glenfeshie, we shall explore hidden forests, remote lochs and cascading waterfalls. Under the guidance of professional nature photographers with intimate local knowledge, our aim is to explore each situation from a photographic perspective and to gain an understanding of how to maximise use of lighting, composition and technique. Our exciting days in the field will be complimented by comfortable accommodation where we will enjoy wholesome meals and evening slide shows by both guides and guests.
