Echo WallEcho Wall

(Scotland 2008, 44 mins)

Few thought that Dave MacLeod could better his E11 from 2006, but in July 2008, Dave did just that, climbing Echo Wall on the north face of Ben Nevis, once again raising the bar in world trad climbing standards. Dave's preparation routes; a free solo of Darwin Dixit (8c) and the winter route Don't Die (XI) are also featureed and are world-class performances in their own right. Filmed by Dave's wife Claire MacLeod, this film charts the story of a new level of determination and calculated risk taking in rock climbing.
