Join us on Tuesday 19 February for a day of themed walks, displays and talks presented by The Nevis Partnership to celebrate the evocative ‘Nevis’ name.
Guided Walks
Crofters Woodland walk 
A gentle walk that begins with a crossing on the Camusnagaul passenger ferry to the woodland on the west of Loch Linnhe. Just a short hill climb reveals stunning views of Ben Nevis and the surrounding area.
Time: 10am -12.30pm, suitable for all, £3 for ferry.
Meet on the town pier (by Crannog restaurant). Bring walking boots, waterproofs, refreshments and warm clothing.

Explore Loch Nevis and Loch Morar
See Europe's deepest loch on this guided walk. The walk hugs the old path along Loch Morar to the remains of the schoolhouse at Brinacory and onto the hill. After lunch there is a climb to a viewpoint at 1,000 ft. Bring a camera to capture the breathtaking views.
Time: 10.30 am – 3pm, suitable for all, FREE.
Meet at Bracorina on the B8008 (off the A830 to Morar).

Winter ascent of Ben Nevis
Guided walk to the summit of Ben Nevis with mountain guide, Mick Tighe. Don’t miss this opportunity to climb the Ben in winter with the support of a fully qualified and highly experienced leader.

Nevis Connections Evening - A Celebration in Words, Music and Images
Join us for an evening celebrating the spirit of the Nevis area in music, poetry, prose, photography and film. Featuring the premiere of a stunning short film about Ben and Glen Nevis and prize-giving for the Festival’s English and Gaelic writing competitions. Plus well-known author, mountaineer and Nevis Partnership Chairman, Cameron McNeish will lead a lively debate on ‘Capturing and Conserving the Essence of the Ben and Glen’, together with Richard Else, top wilderness film-maker.
