WHAT’S ON IN AND AROUND THE OUTDOOR CAPITAL OF THE UK

About us

The Fort William Mountain Festival, presented with The Outdoor Capital of the UK, is a five-day celebration of mountains and the culture that surrounds them and runs from 11 - 15 February 2010. During the best winter walking and climbing conditions of the year, audiences will be entertained by a varied and packed programme of mountain sports, films, lectures, guided walks, workshops and photography for residents and visitors who want to learn about and celebrate mountain culture.

Mission Statement

The Fort William Mountain Festival is a project of the Highland Mountain Culture Association Ltd. This is a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to promote the understanding and appreciation of the world's mountain places and people, by creating opportunities for people to share their mountain experiences, ideas and visions.

Thanks

The Festival would not be possible without the many hours put in by over 40 volunteers and the generous support of our many sponsors.

Equal Opportunities
